TechTower is officially opened!

Yesterday, the TechTower Technology Park opened its gates on the first of February. The first visitors were guests from the city of Pilsen, so you could see the Mayor of Pilsen Mr. Roman Zarzycki, Pilsen Councillor for Smart City and Business Support Mr. Daniel Kus and of course Mr. Luděk Šantora, Director of the Information Technology Administration of Pilsen, which will be the operator of this modern innovation centre. The opening ceremony was of course also attended by members of the press who came to see the project, which is also one of the city’s largest investments. The renovation of the former brewery site took several long years, and everyone was looking forward to seeing the final shape of the building.

TechTower offers spacious offices for companies that have already started to slowly settle in. The big design bomb is also the SIT Port cowork, i.e. shared offices. These will serve students, startups or even small business owners looking for a cozy place to work. Interested parties will be able to choose from several options, such as fix boards, which mean they won’t have to share their rented space. In addition to offices, you will find meeting rooms of all sizes, a modern multifunctional hall or a unique test water tank for underwater drones and submarines, which is unparalleled in the Czech Republic. Of course, there is also a prototype workshop, which will provide its users with important materials and (our) machines for the production of first prototypes, components and other products. 3D printers, a laser plotter, milling machines and milling machines and much more are available here. For community members there is also a relaxation room, a seedup space for making the most important contracts, a gallery or perhaps a delicious café and canteen.

There’s something for everyone, and now all you really need to do is take that first step.
